Located at 1,950 meters, above Pfundinger, you will find this rustic alpine hut, where you can buy hot meals and drinks in summer. The special feature of this hut is the cheese factory, which is located here. Here, the milk of around 50 cows is processed into delicious mountain cheese, butter, yoghurt and other dairy products, which you can buy locally. Overnight stays are usually not possible, should you come in need of biking, but you can find shelter here.

Mountain biking

If you come from the Pfunderer Joch the first address if you want to eat well and are well served. Very nice Alm that makes its own cheese and quark. The buttermilk is a hit ... with a fat rim ... if you like, ok. The Brettljause is great, here again its own cheese and a good piece of bacon to cut yourself ... just great.

Mountaineering

Is beautifully located in a wide valley in the middle of the green mountains of Pfunders.
Reachable from the parking lot in Dun in about 90 minutes. A nice day tour in the area of the Alm is the so-called lake tour where you climb to the Grindlbergsee and the Weitenbergsee. The tour is very well described on the Weitenbergalm homepage.
Food and drinks are available here in summer. You can buy the self-produced cheese (very tasty!) And butter here.
