Seven Grottos Trail

Great hiking trail between Habichstal and Heigenbrücken. The path belongs to the Marienweg hiking trail or 7 Grotten Weg

The "Seven Grottoes Trail" circular hiking trail in the Hochspessart connects seven Marian grottos. The approximately 23 km long trail marked with a "white M in a blue diamond on a white background" was beautifully designed by Johann Bialdyga from Heigenbrücken!The route leads from Heigenbrücken through the forest as a circular route to the towns of Heinrichsthal, Habichsthal and finally back to Heigenbrücken. On the way, hikers come across a total of seven Marian grottos. The parking lot on the Hüttenwiesenweg (nature park parking lot "bus parking lot") in Heigenbrücken is the starting point for this hike.
