nice double track through forest. steady uphill but not too steep. Apparently, it was a favourite drafting/painting spot for the Group of Seven artists. Gazebo at the top for shade and nice views out onto Pic Island and other island and onto Lake Superior. Have to go down on the same trail - the other trails are not bikeable.

Mountain biking

On my first attempt very early in the morning, I had to turn around (well, I didn't HAVE to, but I chose to) because a cougar was sitting on the path. So perhaps better to go later in the day or with another person/persons.
