Vennebroek is an estate of 17 hectares and consists of grasslands and beech and oak avenues. What is special is that there are almost 200 species of mushrooms here and a sweet chestnut of approximately 350 years old.

The square Huis Vennebroek (from 1848) is located on the estate, alongside a restored farmhouse, a coach house and several service houses. Around 1985, the house, the estate and the Friescheveen behind it were transferred to Natuurmonumenten. From 2021 the house will be privately owned.

Natuurmonumenten has set up an information center in the coach house. Huis Vennebroek has been designated as a national monument.
