This small, well-maintained chapel is a beautiful, quiet place.
    It is simple and peaceful.
A mosaic image of the Virgin Mary hangs above the altar. A large, elegantly carved crucifix hangs on the side.
The building is overgrown with greenery, and a large white cross stands outside.
There is a wonderful view to the southeast.

Brinke Farm was first mentioned in 1184.
The chapel first appears in documents in 1624.
A 70 kg bell from 1718 hangs in the ridge turret, dedicated to the Holy Family and donated by Johann Philipp König.
In 1769, the estate was granted to the Oesede Monastery.
In 1803, the monastery was dissolved, and all properties were placed under the control of the monastery treasury.
In 1920, the Flach family leased the farm and brought the cross, which was attached to the eastern gable, from Harderburg Castle.
    1967: Renovation of the chapel
Since 1980, the Oesede Kolping Family has been responsible for its maintenance.
1980 and 1988: Complete renovations inside and out.
In 2002, the bell suspension was replaced, the western gable was given a weatherproof coat of paint, and the old courtyard cross on the east side was restored.
