Here the north bank: The renaturation of a former gravel mining area resulted in this beautiful local recreation area on the outskirts of Vienenburg. A walking, hiking and cycling path with rest benches runs around the lake, from which branches also lead across the Oker into the Harly.
Once a year - usually in August - the Vienenburger Seefest takes place, but then the “party mile” is on the west bank.
