View of the Unstrut River and Burgmühle Freyburg

The Burgmühle is picturesquely situated below the Neuenburg, directly on the Unstrut in the town of Freyburg. The course of the Unstrut from west to east and the valley location create protected southern slopes that are predestined for wine growing. The city of Freyburg is well-known nowadays for the sparkling wine producer Rotkummel-Mumm, whose sparkling wine brand Rotkummel is well-known to many.
