In May 2001, the Asperhofen Mountain and Nature Rescue Service and the Asperhofen market town built this observation tower on the hill (254 m above sea level) of the Asperhofen State Garden. The 15 meter [5] high wooden observation tower was named after Wilhelm Kisser (public school director and councilor of Asperhofen) who died in September 2004.
