You can go in and light candles. As in most of Luxembourg, littering and graffiti seems to be a foreign word, so that the chapel can be open to the public during the day without any scrutiny.

Every year in summer the Viandener celebrate the picture week with Rochus procession. You have been doing this since 1848, when the Bildchen Chapel in "Bildchensbësch" was completed. The miraculous image is festively led from the chapel through the decorated place to the Trinitarian church, where it remains for a week. All sorts of legends have grown up around the image of Our Lady. The most credible tells that the carved figure would be a souvenir from the crusade and that the blessed Yolanda - born in 1231 as the daughter of Count von Vianden - put the small image of Mary in a hidden place for worship. Since the 17th century the “little picture” in its rock niche on the “Läächen” was reached via a narrow path until the foundation stone of the chapel was laid in 1848.
