The bomb shelters have the same structure, masonry walls with a round roof of stone on which corrugated iron are mounted.
A few other pits and a kind of cellars or the like have been found that look like air raid shelters but could just as well have been machine gun nests of the Germans.

This walk starts in the center of Goirle at the Kloosterplein
4.5 km - 45 minutes
This short walk starts in the center of Goirle at the Kloosterplein. You only have to walk 400 meters and you are in the beautiful nature reserve De Vossereijten.
We walk over the old tram track to the air raid shelter that later served as a changing room for the football club. Back to Goirle through the meadows along the old swimming pool.
