In 1917 the two-story clinker brick representative town hall was inaugurated. The building was given a three-story, octagonal central building with an entrance and a meeting room, as well as the two side wings with the converted attic under a hipped roof. The meeting room with paneled walls has a chair as a gift from the Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
The three coats of arms above the entrance date from 1927 and show the Hamburg city coat of arms, the Cuxhaven city coat of arms and the imperial and later the federal eagle.
