On May 22, 1971, the last passenger train drove through the Haseler Tunnel, after which the station was shut down, it was the Wehratalbahn railway line that ran between Schopfheim and Wehr.
In 1985 the property was auctioned, the former Hasler train station has now been converted into an encounter railway.
The station has been owned by the Förderverein Treffenbahnhof Hasel e.V. for more than 30 years, it is now a popular youth and family leisure center and has become a place for (international) encounters.

The station Hasel 1890, located at the Wehratalbahn, at the eastern tunnel exit of the Fahrnauer Tunnel, served only the local traffic of the village Hasel and some surrounding farmsteads, as well as the excursion traffic to visit the nearby stalactite cave. Now for more than 30 years in the possession of the Förderverein Begegnungsbahnhof Hasel e.V., he is now a popular youth and family leisure home. The expansion, which was mainly carried out by construction camps together with the International Building Order, has made it a place of (international) encounter.
