Cycling
A moth was first mentioned in 1341, with the name castrum Boylnheym. It was the seat of the Knights of Bolheim. Later it went to the Spies von Büllesheim. That is why Niederbolheim Castle was also called Spiesburg.
In 1870 a new manor called Burg Niederbolheim was built near the former site. The owners are the Kirsch family (as of 2014).
The castle is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Blatzheim.
