This stone table, decorated with the coats of arms of Frankfurt, Hesse, Mainz and Isenburg, symbolizes the Vierherrenstein, which stood on the other side of the railway line in the Zeppelinheim district until the 1950s. The replica was erected in 1975, the original was probably lost during construction work. According to tradition, the territories of Frankfurt, Mainz, Isenburg-Birstein and Hesse-Darmstadt collided at the four-lord table and the rulers of these houses met there for a common meal after a border inspection.
