The Franciscan monastery was founded in 1477 by the Counts of Schaunberg. After the Franciscan convent was closed several times over the years and the buildings including the church were even demolished in 1801, monks and sisters are now living again in the so-called Shalomkloster Pupping. The colorful monastery garden is also beautiful.
You can find more information about the monastery at pupping.franziskaner.at.
