Hiking
It is about 1.8 kilometers from Paiyun Lodge. The slate is interbedded with metasandstones. There are still marine fossils and corrugated traces on Daciaobi (The Great Precipice), which is the best proof showing how Taiwan was uplifted from the ocean by the collision between the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate.
