The small town, in which there is also a local history museum to visit, is located on the border to the Allgäu. The R39 cycle path continues from here through the Vilstal in a westerly direction, as a cycle track on the edge of the Allgäuer Straße. Immediately after the border between Austria and Germany, the cycle path continues on the Bavarian side to Pfronten, where there are connections to other cycle paths and mountain bike routes, e.g. in the direction of the Tannheimer Tal.
