Small and ancient countryside sanctuary south of Crema in an elevated bend of the Serio river which in ancient times lapped it in the so-called Dead Serio valley. The remains of ancient tombs have been found, in fact there was a cemetery in place before the construction of the church. It is reached by a winding and narrow asphalted country road with remarkable glimpses of the Serio river and adjacent canals. A jump into the past.
