Free from traffic and a scenically attractive environment, for me the most beautiful route up to Torfhaus. Just over half of the route has gradients of 7 to 9%, with a few ramps of up to 12%. You have to take the main road for almost a kilometer with a gradient of around 8% before you finally arrive at Torfhaus.

Down works too (and fast). Especially in the upper part, you should not let the bike run unchecked. Here is the largest slope with some little overview of the rest of the route. On the road are scattered remains of forestry work (tree bark, pebbles, etc.) Below much clearer and safer.

Asphalted path from the Okertalsperre up to Torfhaus. No car traffic, sometimes over 10% gradient.
There is always dirt on the road, only suitable for ascent.
