Lehrensteinsfeld Castle is a renaissance castle from the middle of the 16th century, it was built on castle foundations that have been preserved from the Middle Ages. In 1770, the south side of the castle was redesigned in the then newly beginning French classicism. However, essential parts of the Renaissance building were preserved, such as the rear garden facade. The palace has been privately owned by the Dietzsch family since 1887 and until today. In 1961, the landowner Carl Dietzsch was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his modern and future-oriented fruit growing. Unfortunately, the castle is not open to the public.
