A hike along the shores of the many fish ponds is almost always a highlight for us. Winding paths, rather paths, always along the water's edge and there is much to discover. The access is a bit hidden, on the east side of the Appelbecker lake, behind the bridge it goes first over plates and a mostly damp, a bit muddy section. But after a few meters you have solid ground and the path along the ponds can be well done. Sturdy shoes and insensitive clothing are recommended.
