Around 60 dairy cows graze up here at about 1,600 meters in summer, making it possible to produce the local sour cheese. Hungry hikers are served typical Montafon sour cheese here, such as the Lorenzital alpine cheese. The Sauerkäsealpe is located in the middle of the Brand / Bürserberg ski area in the beautiful Brandnertal.
