Behind the old post hall there is now a bicycle and pedestrian path, the rapid cycle path to Pasing. The self-supporting concrete hall is made of precast concrete parts. Span of 148 meters. 15 railway tracks led into here so that the rail mail cars could be unloaded regardless of the weather. In 1997 the tracks were removed and the Munich mail center moved in with a mail sorting system.
