At 193 meters above sea level (Dietzenbach states on its website: 189.5 meters above sea level), the Ebertsberg is one of the highest elevations in the Offenbach district and is located within the Dietzenbach district – historically in the Princely Isenburg Forest of Dreieich. During the Roman Empire, a connecting road from Dieburg is said to have passed just north of the hill. There is speculation about a Roman watchtower on the Ebertsberg, but no archaeological traces of it have been found. A path up branches off from the regional park stele on Offenbacher Weg, from where it is another 25 meters to the "summit."

At the highest point, mountain enthusiasts have piled up a small cone of pebbles, some of which are marked with names.
