Lichtenwalde Castle & Park is one of the most remarkable baroque ensembles in Germany and impresses with its exhibits from Nepal, Tibet, China and Japan.
The park is open all year round from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and currently costs €3.00 for adults.
The Lichtenwalde Castle and Park are among the "three worth seeing" along with Augustusburg Castle and Scharfenstein Castle.

If you are going on a hike or a bike ride near Lichtenwalde Castle, we recommend a walk through the beautifully landscaped baroque castle park with its many views of the Zschopau River flowing down the valley.
