Holzgau is considered the pearl of the Lech Valley, not least because of its many beautifully painted houses. The small town is also a good starting point for all kinds of outdoor activities in the Lech Valley. Special attractions nearby include the 200-meter-long Holzgau suspension bridge over the Höhenbachtal Gorge and the Simms Waterfall via ferrata.
