The Forggensee, also memory Roßhaupten, is a run by the Lech reservoir near Füssen in Königswinkel in the Bavarian Allgäu. The lake is with 15.2 km ² the fifth largest lake in Bavaria and the largest reservoir in Germany. It is located in the district Ostallgäu, while two-thirds in the municipality of Schwangau. Since the summer of 2018 the dam has been repaired! From 17.04.2019 pedestrians and cyclists can use a makeshift diversion here!
