Easily accessible excursion destination in the post-mining landscape of the Welzow open-cast lignite mine.
Similar, but not as extensive as in the Nochten Foundlings Park, boulders from the Ice Ages are stored here for viewing, including a chunk with a dated age of 1.5 billion years. The all-round view from this artificial hill should soon be a thing of the past due to the vegetation. Hiking trails invite you to cycle and hike. Geocachers get their money's worth here. The first damage to the equipment should be repaired promptly, let's see if someone feels responsible for sustainability.
