The Romanesque style church of San Pietro a Motto stands alone surrounded by green meadows.

It dates back to the 13th century, but has been expanded over time. The last works date back to 1988.

The small Romanesque church, located near the town of Motto, was built in the 13th century instead of an early medieval cult building from the late 6th century. In 1581 the building was expanded and given a bell tower.

Late Gothic frescoes by an unknown Lombard master from the end of the 14th century have been preserved on the south side of the nave. The church interior is decorated with wall paintings from the 14th to 19th centuries. Century decorated. The original apse frescoes were painted over by an artist from the circle of Antonio da Tradate (late 15th - early 16th century) and later by the Calgari workshop from Osco (mid-19th century).

The altar features a scagliola frontal in stucco marble, a work by Francesco Solari dated 1732. The most recent comprehensive restoration was completed in 1988.
