The Upper Besigheim Castle is a former castle complex on Kirchstraße at the southern entrance to the small town of Besigheim in the Ludwigsburg district in Baden-Württemberg.

The castle was built in 1215/30 by Margrave Hermann V of Baden and mentioned in 1312. The castle house Steinhaus, the former palace of the castle with Romanesque fireplace and cloakroom as well as the round 36 m high keep made of hump ashlars, the Schochenturm named after the tower keeper Schoch (erected in 1220) have been preserved. In the 16th century a keeper's apartment was set up. The castle house is connected to the tower by the arch of the city gate. The furnishings with a Romanesque fireplace and outhouse can also be found in the lower castle. In front of the Schochenturm there is a Staufer stele inaugurated in 2011.
