Silbertaler Winterjöchle

Nice and quiet but also nice and wet! I hadn't walked over s'kleene wet Winterjöchle today after a Joe Route MTB Transalp goers with wet shoes told me to push and carry them for 1.5 hours in the very deeply wet ground.
I had read that before: "Whoever happens here must expect to carry and push his MTB for 1.5 hours".
Thought that was dependent on the weather, but is probably regular. 😬

Pushing through the high moor for a good hour - thus many damp / wet areas. Reward through the rest, which from 15.6-15.9. can be experienced with MTB.
After that there is rest!

A large alp between steep mountain walls, where time seems to stand still. Far and wide, no sign of civilization and a beguiling silence spreads out here.
