Hoopte–Zollenspieker Ferry

Good break point for all driving routes in the area. In Hopte there are one or two restaurants for a break before a crossing. Best herring rolls and homemade fish cakes from Grubes Fischerstube. There are also drinks there.

If you do not want to "translate" in Geesthacht or the Elbe bridges across the Elbe, do so by ferrying at Zollenspieker. In good weather is always tidy operation and it meets a colorful crowd of bikers but of course (road bike) drivers. In the Fährhaus itself you can sit in good weather with a fine garden café with moderate drinks at moderate prices and fresh cake and look over the Elbe. At the Aliegern there are on both sides snack cars for the general well-being and of course the obligatory fish sandwiches offer. But you should definitely try them in "Grubes Fischerstube" in Hoopte.
