The route is well suited for relaxed driving, I would prefer the two roads to the west for speed driving. On the one hand, you cross streets every few hundred meters and therefore have to brake, on the other hand, to overtake you usually have to cross the grass-covered median strip, especially when the weather is nice, there are many leisurely trekking cyclists on the road.

The tracks of the Hamburger Marschbahn are almost completely dismantled today. On the railway embankment, the paved road Marschbahn dam was created, which is mainly used as a cycle path. Some station buildings are still preserved (Wikipedia)

he approx. 33 km long Marschbahndamm is today a popular cycling and hiking trail through the meadows and fields of the Vier- und Marschlande.

The former line of the small railway was opened in 1921 with a first section, with the line from the junction of the main line of the Bergedorf-Geesthacht railway via Teufelsort to the junction of the line coming from Bergedorf, which was built in 1912, heading south to the Zollenspieker terminal station.
The other sections then followed until 1927, the last section of the route via Fünfhausen, Ochsenwerder, Tatenburg to Moorfleet was completed.
In 1952, rail traffic was stopped again and the tracks were almost completely removed. Today, the Marschenbahndamm is almost entirely tarred and is an ideal cycle path.
