The hermitage of Mount Calvario is located southeast of the city of Cartagena, on the mount of the same name (Cerro de San Juan) 221m high, near the top and Castillo de San Julián. Every year a pilgrimage is celebrated from the church of Santiago Apóstol de Santa Lucía to the hermitage carrying the Virgen de la Soledad.
