The striking remains of an old manor are well preserved here. The manor had to be given up in favor of the military training area in the 30s of the last century. Until the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Kerstlingeröder field was still used as a military training area. After the Göttingen site was given up by the Bundeswehr, the military character is no longer visible. Even the old tank washing system is now almost invisible. Only the remains of the manor have been preserved as a gem.
