    St. Nicholas's Church, Frauenfeld

The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas and features a spacious, single-nave interior. It was built between 1904 and 1906 in place of the original church, featuring a blend of Neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau styles.

    1906:
Consecration of the new St. Nicholas's Church, designed by Albert Rimli.
    1967–1969:
Renovation of St. Nicholas's Church. Adaptation to the liturgical format. The three original altars were replaced with murals by Karl Manninger (1912–2002) depicting "Christmas," "Resurrection," and "Eucharist." The purely mechanical Metzler organ with 44 stops was installed.

Protestant City Church of the Trinity, Frauenfeld
Approved by the Swiss Federal Diet, the exclusively Protestant church was built on its current site in 1641. The lower section of the tower above the main portal (already featuring a stepped gable) dates from this period. Due to its dilapidation, the nave was demolished in 1927.
The current church, designed by architect Hans Wiesmann in the simple but not entirely austere Bauhaus style by Brenner and Stutz, was consecrated in 1929.
The glowing red choir window is by Augusto Giacometti (1877-1947) and depicts Christ's journey from birth to the ascension.
Organ: The organ in the gallery (41 stops) was built by the Metzler company in 1985.
Bells: Six bells (A-flat, D-flat, E-flat, F-flat, A-flat, D-flat) hang in the 36.5 m high tower. Figurative and ornamental sculptures above three entrances. The clappers had to be replaced in 2010. The heaviest weighed 175 kg.
      Evangelical Parish, Frauenfeld
