If you are coming from the east from Fronhofen instead, then make sure to take the unmarked turn-off to the right that leads uphill after the signpost. The paved service road leads to a hunting lodge.
In addition to the obligatory swivel grill, the grill hut offers a large shelter with refrigerators and a sink.
