The Elmshorn water tower was built in 1902. The registered cultural monument was out of service for 10 years and then moved to private ownership in 2003. It has now been made available to the public.In the lower area there is a candle making shop “Candle making for everyone”; (Ilses Candle House) and a bistro. The structure of the upper area is retained as a monument.Tower tours are unfortunately no longer possible / permitted.Source: wasserturm-elmshorn.de
