Famous and notorious among skiers and mountaineers. Some go for freeriding in the winter, the others because they want to climb the mountains, if not even the Mont Blanc itself. A friend of mine - mountain guide - was so often up that he eventually said "never again!".
So you will not think of mountain biking first but the area is perfect for that! Only in July & August, there are some regulations that you with the bike in certain ways, as well as the TMB, not allowed to drive. There you have to look for alternative routes or choose the "low season".July 11, 2017
