Brilon Market Square

The old town of Brilon with its beautiful marketplace and the pedestrian area invites you to linger in any case. Located in the Hochsauerland / NRW on the border with Hesse, Brilon with its more than 26,000 inhabitants is the starting point or end point of the Rothaarsteig. Hikers who start here on the Rothaarsteig can easily reach Brilon by train from Dortmund after a journey of about one and a half hours. Brilon City Train Station is approximately 800 meters from Brilon's Old Town.
