Old books and bunkers are the hallmarks of the only book town in Germany so far only 40 kilometers south of Berlin, right on the B96. Adventurous hikes into military history take place in huge bunkers. Museums and exhibitions complement the almost 100-year military history in Zossen / Wünsdorf. Around 300,000 books from all areas of knowledge and collecting are not only waiting for collectors and bookworms, but also light holiday reading or special children's books are waiting for buyers in three large antiquarian bookshops. A "tea room" and the "Akropolis" restaurant take care of the physical well-being. The art gallery of the Teltow-Fläming district ensures a variety of artistic experiences. The facilities of the book city are open all year round, for those particularly interested it offers special day arrangements such as special tours or site tours.
