Nestled beneath the towering ridges of Blencathra, The Horse and Farrier Inn is a great place for post hike refreshment. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the bar of this traditional country pub, whilst the restaurant serves good, hearty meals. It makes for an ideal place to stay if you are tackling multi-day routes in the Lakeland fells.
