relied on the descriptions here. Unfortunately I have to inform you that the tour Wattenrader See and e.g. Südensee (Sörup) are, from my point of view, for the bucket.

Wattenrader See: Towards a completely rotten information board over a dusty field path, a short piece of forest, then a beaten path. On the left the lake, hidden by tall bushes and trees, every now and then a bit of water flashes through. Then gate to a pasture and the urgent warning NOT to enter it with a dog (there are hardly any hikers who bring dogs!) Back. On the scruffy information board in Pica 12 writing under mold spots an explanation that dogs are forbidden on the circular route in sections. Doller circular route!

The same thing at the Südensee, no access to the lakeshore, unless in a mini section at the local bathing establishment. Otherwise you will be led along dusty dirt roads between the barbed wire fence and cornfields. I know from the Münsterland, miles long.

So up here I have the impression that, with a few exceptions, as a hiker you suffered badly and are actually out of place. Miserable information on the paths, hardly any maintenance and the actual highlights remain hidden. And on top of that, harsh prohibition signs with the motto "Just stay away from here".
