The Ev.-luth. Church of St. Margarethen is a baroque brick hall church, richly decorated with marble paintings and gold leaf, with a large circumferential gallery and free-standing slate wooden tower from 1784. The previous church was inaugurated on the day of St. Margaretha, July 13, 1500. Hence the place got its name. Margaretha's victory over the dragon can be found above the portal, in the weather vane and in the nail picture.
