Tips
A circumnavigation of the lake of Bled is worthwhile. Because of the masses of tourists, otherwise you can not express that, I recommend to cycle around early in the morning, or to walk like everybody else.

In the lake there is the small island Blejski Otok with a famous St. Mary's Church and important excavations from the early and high Middle Ages. It is the only island in Slovenia.
