This “lake” used to be part of the Regnitz. The water is now called Regnitzaltwasser and has been transformed into a small lake. There are many ducks and swans on it, who like to be fed. With the small island in the middle, this part of the sports island looks very idyllic and there is a very nice path completely around it. Ideal for a short walk, jogging or going for a walk.
