Anyone who approaches the village of Sint Agatha (municipality of Cuijk) will see the monastery from afar. It has been continuously inhabited by Crosiers since 1371. Even now, the oldest monastery in the Netherlands is a place where everyday life is combined with contemplation and reflection. Since 2006, the Heritage Center for the Dutch Monastery Life has been located in part of the monastery. A renovation will take place in 2020, creating living spaces for "the monastic of the 21st century".

Nice rustic spot on the river. In the courtyard is a terrace for coffee or something to eat. There are beautiful paths along the meadows around the monastery for a lovely walk.
