The city center of Capalbio is the typical ancient village perched on top of a hill almost 300 meters high, enclosed within preserved walls and dominated by a medieval fortress from which you can admire breathtaking views of the sea, the nearby islands of the Tuscan archipelago and the hills of the Maremma. The historic center can only be visited on foot.
