    Something very special was to be built on the square where the water tank used to stand on the outskirts of Metzebach - a place of significance for the Metzebach people.

    The result is a stone circle - an ARS NATURA work of art made of red sandstone steles that are aligned with the cardinal points. The steles are intended to create a connection to what the square used to be - Metzebach's own water supply point. A water symbol has been worked into one of the steles by stonemason Marco Theis, the stone directs the viewer's gaze to the west in the direction of the former waterline.
