The park behind the castle was originally laid out in the 16th century as a Renaissance garden, then in the 18th century it was converted into a baroque castle garden by the then lord of the castle von Grumbkow and finally transformed into a landscape park from 1823. There are a number of rare trees here, including a sequoia.
